To us, each child’s growth and development is the highest goal, as we help reduce the discomforts of their diseases and the health care vital to them. Our techniques look past technology, as we commit ourselves to meeting their medical, developmental, social, psychological and spiritual needs through a blend of tenderness and expertise.
We have been serving special needs children for almost 50 years. Having helped pioneer habilitation services for developmentally disabled and pediatric subacute services for medically fragile children, we operated 57 facilities throughout Southern California. Now, we are concentrating on four distinctive areas for children on two campuses.
The child’s centered approach means that our developmental focus is supported by multiple levels of service and specially trained caregivers. Totally Kids® is growing to make sure your child has the best opportunities.
People Making A Difference
Totally Kids ® nursing staff is experienced and specially trained to work with medically fragile, complex, and technology dependent children. “Around-the-clock” respiratory therapists (RCP and RRT) provide technical and specialized respiratory care.
Our pediatricians and pediatric intensivists are associated with UCLA Medical Centers. Our therapists in the rehabilitation department have pediatric experience and are sensitive to the developmental needs of each child.
Extraordinary care is accomplished by working together with our pediatric team, consisting of: physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, pediatricians, pediatric intensivists, pediatric neurologists, psychologists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, case managers, orthopedists, child development specialists, social services and infection preventionist.
